Hi I got this from an article on the Internet today:
Ecclestone, who spearheaded the burgeoning GP2 category that is not officially sanctioned by the governing body, scoffed at Mosley’s assertion that F2 could be run for about 200,000 Euros per car.
“A season of karting costs more,” Ecclestone said in interview with Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport.

Whoa, 200k euros is $313,868.65. Can you imagine the season you would have if you spent that kinda cash!
That Bernie is one wacky guy. Actually, he strikes me as a very shrewd politician. Still, every so often he lets loose with gems like this, commenting on Danica Patrick’s 4th place at Indy in 2005:
“She did a good job, didn’t she? Super. Didn’t think she’d be able to make it like that. You know, I’ve got one of these wonderful ideas that women should be all dressed in white like all the other domestic appliances.”
