Thanks for a great–even if a bit weather-delayed–end to the 2007 season. You ordered up some perfect weather, not to mention some tasty pizza for the year-end festivities! The running LeMans starts were a fun change of pace, as was using different track configurations for the pre-final and main. Couldn’t have been a better end to a great season.

Thanks Joe………I truly appreciate you and your families support and the members that participated in Sundays 07 WKA CSSC Series finale. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful Indian Summer day this late in October. Must be part of global warming? With the Rotax Challenge out of the way and most of the class championhips wrapped up it made it fun to shake up the format with some new challenges. The racers ran plenty of laps, with 15 lap prefinals and 25 to 30 lap features. The running LeMans starts sure shook up the starting order and made the feature events a little more exciting.
I also want to thank Lisa Pergeau and Julie Edmunds for volunteering at the last minute for filling in for Kathy Christensen in timing and scoring; they did a very nice job of keeping the program on schedule. Also many thanks to Phil Layton for filling in for Scott Christensen as our EMT/Paramedic for the day.
Once again many thanks to the SoCo CRE membership for your participation and making the 07 WKA season a success. The 07 CRE Rotax Challenge had to be one of the most competitive series in the country as the racers competed for a place on the CRE Rotax Team for the Grand Nationals. The World Formula package solidified itself in the CRE class structure for 08 as the Jr. class soared and the competition was fierce. The memberships participation and support are what the program possible. I hope to see you all at the banquet in January.
Another thanks for a great day of racing! All the change ups added to the excitement. It was a great finish to an awesome season. You have one of the largest and deepest fields in the country for Jr Rotax racing. I know racing at CRE has helped Jesse accelerate the improvement in his driving abilities. Keep up the good work.
