ParticipantStacey,
The fuel-oil voucher indicates that VP MS-98 fuel must be used, and that at least 4 oz of oil/gallon must be used. What about for Rotaxes? As you know, we normally use MS-93, and 2.5 – 2.9 oz of oil (for 44:1 to 50:1 ratios). 4 oz is a 30:1 ratio–WAY higher than Rotax ever recommended, even back a couple years ago when they were worried about engine failures (and in the midst of summer).

ParticipantJoe,
Rotax drivers can run MS 98 and the oil ratio that you want.. however you still need to run the Burris or Xeramic.

ParticipantStacey,
I have been using Ms98 and motul 800 in our CSC series @ 32:1 and I am pretty sure it was allowed in Rotax’s last year at the World event.
I think we have to have a Tag USA membership, will we be able to purchase that there? Is our CSC races considered qualifications to race in the Tag Worlds?
I just didn’t see the CSC series being listed as one of the qualifying series used for participation.September 5, 2008 at 2:46 pm #61902Jon Romenesko

ParticipantThe Motul 800 and MS98 will be allowed for all Rotax drivers. The CSC is considered a qualifying series for TAG USA but you do need to be a member to race. let me know if you have any other questions and I will try and get them answered..

ParticipantHey Stacey! Previously you posted that the winner of the Masters class would get a new Leapord package, and now you’re saying that Junior and Minis get one too. So what about the Senior drivers–are they chopped liver?! 😉
Good news about the MG tires, though.
