Has anyone out there in racing land ever owned, race, or tuned a PRD Fireball RK125cc? I was just wonder how reliable these engines and availability of parts for this engine combo.
The original ones were not very good, broke a lot and were underpowered. They have been revised and supposedly much better but no one around here has taken a chance on them.
Like doug said, they were not that good a few years ago. I think they were made in Taiwan and the distributor was Australian. You might check with Mike @ Grand products to see if he is still doing anything with them. He would know if there are any upgrades if he is still in the PRD game

He seems to know what he is talking about on Ekartingnews (at least he doesn’t seem full of it, like many others) email below. I don’t know if he sells them or not but he could point you in the right direction if you have questions.They are made in Korea. RLV is the importer now. Parts are no problem, there are a couple of them in Colorado.

Are you selling the PRD Fireball? Can we buy and get service from your shop? If not, do you know who is? Also looking for who in Colorado is selling and servicing the Rok TT, anyone? Additionally, what about the Tech 1 4 stroke? Guess you can tell we are undecided about what engine package/s we are going to run this season.
