I don’t think it’s legal to smoke at any eatablishment in Denver county. If people want to smoke, they can go outside.

    Craig can you confirm this?

    Thanks, Rick

There is no smoking allowed in any bars or restaurants in Colorado, you must not get out much.

I love the smell of a cigar in the morning….It’s the smell of victory….

Sorry to confuse you edupin, you will get to know my sense, or lack of sense of humor in time. I would never smoke a gasser in a public place, especially around children, or non-smokers. That’s just wrong.

But in honor of Jed Clampit, I will smoke something outside that day. 😉 😯 😕 :joker

    Craig,
Just to stop any confusion, The Track has donated a 12 session punch card for track time. The Value of the card is $420.00.
I wish we could be there, however, we have other commitments out of state. Good luck on the fund raising.

:usa: Thanks for the up date Jim. It was late when I read your email. The Track at Centennial is an excellent addition to our donations.

    Thanks Tim,

Wish you could be there to hang out with the other racers. This will be an excellent oppurtunity to meet and mingle. Do some bench racing, share some tuning information and so on.

    Thanks for offering.

We sent some contributions to Mrs. Sophie a couple days ago, I hope she gets them! The Schermerhorns will hopefully be there.

    Racers,

    Helmet slowing you down?

If you would like some high end end custom graphics on your lid. I will personally donate a week of every spare moment I have, to making your helmet look great. Yes, I come out of retirement every once in a while to lay one down. And I will disassemble your helmet, new or used, repair chips if not new, apply a scheme to your liking, and if needed procure a seal kit (this typically cost an extra $35 – $50 & I’ll eat the cost) to reassemble the “new look” lid, making you look clean and fast! I use the best materials money can buy, you won’t be disappointed!

If you point some money Bob’s direction, I’ll make your helmet rock!

I’ve seen some pretty blah looking lids out there. You’ll never get to the front looking like that!

This should be good for 2-3 tenths a lap.

I have no idea what to state as a value. I’ve painted helmets for $300, I’ve painted helmets for 2k. Just help Bob and I’ll make you look good!

Big thanks to Richard and Kelly Buxman for donating a graphics kit and set of wheels for the Kart being built auctioned.

This thing is going to be cool! The kart is in great shape, remember this was Marc Elliott’s Pro Shifter, Rbi Ar-2 chassis. The Elliott’s don’t do anything half way and this kart is no exception. It has some high end features like a balanced rear rotor and hub assembly. And is a low mile unit. Craig and I will be assembling this machine tomorrow. We’ll post photo’s when done.

Thanks again to the engine donor (who has requested to remain anonymous) and the Elliott’s for the chassis donation.

    Racers,

I sent my wife shopping with “X” amount of money. She got a lot of really cool items to raffle for the kids! I’m a little jealous, but the kids will have their own raffle. Looks like will have a high quality, mini mountain bike being offered as well as some super cool things for the kids to win!(sorry, I’ve been playing with them tonight!) If any of you don’t feel you’re in a position to to bid on an auction item. Buy a toy or kids video or something you think a kid would like. It would be very useful for the fund raiser. It does not have to be expensive, just something. We’ll add it to the raffle.

If some of the items coming down the road, don’t keep the children at the gathering engaged, I’ll be very surprised.

Also, Craig and I are assembling a very nice kart. (I think we could run up front on this damn thing) but need a Rotax motor mount. Looks like it has a 32 – 92 spacing and can not have a deep sump type machining on the bracket.(for lack of a better description) We found interference with a cross tube. We need a mount that mounts on top of the rails (ala Shockwave or ?) and does not drop below the top of the tubing, between the front and rear contact points. Do you have anything?

Richie has a new sticker package and set of wheels coming from the west slope for this unit. And you know something? Richie has had some heated on track battles with the Reed family. Off the track, he is poised to help with the heart of a brother, thanks Richie. Hopefully, there will be more battles in the future. In my mind, the saying “wide open till you see God, then brake” was written for you Richie. Thanks again and sorry for mis spelling your name in my previous post, I was tired.

    Late,

    Rick
