ParticipantGreg is going to be in Pueblo tomorrow to drive some real race cars. He has been trading driver coaching and mechanic work for stick time with Pikes Peak Motorsports. http://www.pikespeakmotosports.com
He is starting in a Mazda 3 for track orientation. They will then switch to spec Miatas for lead/follow training. At the end of the day, he is scheduled to take out an Acura RSX for a little wheel to wheel action.
Hopefully he doesn’t wad one up and become an indentured servent for the next ten years paying it off!

ParticipantHey! What’s this “real race car” stuff? He’s been driving a real race car for a long time now.
I’m sure he’ll be able to deal with those low-G force cars. Good luck!

ParticipantYa, I would say he’s going to boats. Heck some people have to do lead/follow training in spec Miatas two times a day. What is he thinking.
Ya OK, have fun and good luck Greg, darnet I thought you were going to grow up and be a famous Go-Kart racer. 😕July 14, 2006 at 1:36 pm #54402Doug Welch
