Hey there, just curious if anyone locally runs e-85 as a fuel and their results.
Due to the high octane rating many people convert modified cars to this fuel type and I have been thinking if anyone does this to karts.
Reguards,Anthony :locoI think the biggest issue is that E85 is corrosive and fairly difficult on the rubber hoses that are associated with a lot of kart parts/carbs.
It’s a neat fuel for turbo cars because of it’s relative ability to resist knock and cool intake temp charges compared to gasoline.
I’m curious as well to anyone who has utilized this in modded shifters, etc. Seems that it would be a neat way to have some Biofuel companies partner with some events, etc. And it’s cheap!
