ParticipantMikey,
The Front Range Series (TTAC/IMI) will have a seperate set of awards – including special awards. Last year, at the banquet, we did the CSC awards, then the IMI awards, and we even made an announcement and an intermission for those in the CSC that didn’t want to hang around for the rest. I thought that was the fair thing to do. I believe the same should happen this year if the club series does indeed piggyback on the CSC banquet.October 22, 2007 at 2:42 pm #59668stacey cook

ParticipantStacey,
It is good to see you can joke and smile! I don’t know how many of the Front Range racers would be smiling if we told them they had to drive over the mountain yet again, and in the middle of December to boot! Not sure if there is anything to be done for future years… but we are sure glad that you, your family, and your local racers, all make the extra effort for us!!Angie

ParticipantThanks Angie, it is good to know that people think about us on this side… We will all be there and are glad to be part of a great Karting Community….

ParticipantI spoke with Ian tonight and he wanted me to let everyone know that due to his fathers death in New Jresey he will unfortunately miss the banquet this year. He said to say high to all and should be back in CO around the 15th.
He sounded in good spirits and I wished him well with a safe return. It’s people like Ian that keep all of our kids, and the rest of the karting community safe on race day. I hope he is able to return to the CSC and club scene next year to keep his safety crew and corner workers going. I always feel comfortable when I see his crew working. We all owe him a big thank you for what he does.

ParticipantSo sorry to hear the news Ian. I know he’s been sick, but you’re never really ready to loose a parent. I know.
If we can do anything? Let us know.

ParticipantSorry to change the subject, but does anybody know what the dress code is for Saturday? I don’t really care but my girlfriend’s life revolves around the clothing to be worn………….

ParticipantDave
Some will be dressed in evening gowns, some in jeans and a T shirt. My wife will be dressy casual with a holiday theme.

ParticipantDave as far as the dress code goes Im over dressing like crazy, a blue and white tuexedo with those ruffles, A yellow tie, neon pink socks, Red shoes, and a purple top hat. (Purple to honor my chassis this year, arrow.
) 😯
No seriosley, Im wearing a black sport coat, gray button up shirt, and black slacks.
You can faintly hear that ZZtop song, sharp dressed man playing in the backround.
😆
It should be an awesome night.
