ParticipantCRE Membership,
Many thanks to all who participated in Saturday’s second round of the 2007 SoCo Rotax Challenge sponsored by Falcon Auto Service and the Edmunds family. The high level of competition in all of the classes, the excitement and anticipation of the event made it a pleasure to host. I would also like to thank those that are behind the scenes that really work well together to make the event a success; Kathy Christensen, T&S, Scott Christensen, EMT, Angie Atkinson, Registrant, Dave Crosby, Technician and Ben Griffen, corner worker.Patrick Herpich, Corrie Hiatt and Austin Schimmel and Colby Meek gave us incredibly exciting and close racing in the Cadet Jr. Sportsman I & II classes. ColbyMeek, Adam Pergeau and Branden Whitman put on a great show in the new and swelling Jr. World Formula class as did Chelsea Wyatt, Angie Wilde and Bailey Edmunds in the WF Powder Puff class. The Rotax classes, with 34 entries overall, show an incredible depth of talent in each class, with the most notable being Colby Meek, Austin Schimmel and Garrett Edmunds in Mini Max; Jesse Toby, Ian layton and CJ Prue in the Juniors; Graham Dillon, Pat Rosse, DavidChapel, Seth Chapa and Winston DeWardt in International and the Viagra class of Sana Bhatti, Matt Mandino,Gunter DeSanti, Eddy Wyatt and Mark Krivanek. It is exciting to hear and see the level of competition amped up this years for the Rotax Grand Nationals. Any of these racers are capable of winning their class championships. Thanks to all of you for your hard fought but clean racing that made it an event to remember.
We are exciited about the 2007 season and can’t wait until our next event on Sunday, June 17th…….we hope to see you and many more new faces for the season.
